Open your heart

I am collecting valentines, Valentines Day gifts, and artwork from Rhode Islanders to give to the veterans residing at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, Rhode Island, and those in-patients and staff at the Providence VA Medical Center. Depending upon the number of items received, I will also distribute valentines to local nursing homes or assisted living facilities with veteran residents, as well as deployed Rhode Island National Guard units, depending on how many we receive.

Drop off your valentines at the North Kingstown Free Library before Sunday at noon. They'll be delivered on Monday the 13th.
